Clive Lyttle and Elaine Burke are basketmakers and traditional skills practitioners, working in both traditional and contemporary designs. They use materials produced from their smallholding where they grow willow and hazel coppice for basketry and a range of other hard woods for green wood turning and chair making.
Clive and Elaine also drystone wall, hedgelay, install living willow structures and reseat chairs in rush and Danish cord. They have produced a number of works for the film industry, and been part of a Chelsea Flower Show medal winning garden. Elaine has also received a special award from the Crafts Council of Ireland for a sculptural willow vessel at the Royal Dublin Show Crafts Competition.
